Process

If a hassle-free installation for a Home EV Charger is what you seek, Energise Energy is the ultimate solution. With our streamlined 6-step procedure, turning your EV charging dreams into reality has never been simpler.

1. Choose Your Charger

Use our informative website to select and pay for the charger that’s right for you.

2. Complete an Online Survey

We will email you a 'remote survey'. This survey will ask you to take a few photos / videos of your consumer unit location, where you would like the charger and the route the cable will be laid so we can verify no extra works would be required.

3. Book a Time and Date for Your Installation

In under two working days after you submit your survey to us, our dedicated back-office team will look over in detail to check all is in order. After this, we will call you to arrange an installation date that suits you. We aim to complete all installations within 2-3 weeks, however this can vary depending on how busy we are.

4. Installation Begins

The install will take around 3 – 4 hours and all we need from you is access to your power supply and a person over the age of 18 to be present. The engineer will call you beforehand to give an accurate ETA and once they arrive, they will conduct all necessary safety checks.

5. Installation Complete

Finally, our engineer will test the fitting, ensure everything is left tidy and your EV will be good to charge. Following this they will talk you through any questions you may have and show you how to use the unit itself and the smartphone app that will help you control your charge with ease.

6. Compliance Verification

Our QS remotely signs off all of our EV installations to ensure all safety procedures have been followed and your Charger will work smoothly. Following this you will be issued with an electrical certificate for the works we have completed. Your home EV Charger install is now complete!
