As part of our mission to help UK homes and business decarbonise, we have been installing smart meter assets for the past five years. In that time we’ve managed to install over 325,000 metering assets across our various contracts.
How to Get a Smart Meter
Step One
If you have been contacted by us either on email, phone or by post then give us a call or email back to book a time slot that suits you.
If you have not been contacted by us about an install then you would have to go to your energy supplier directly to get booked in.
Step Two
After arranging a time and date with our planning team, you don’t need to do anything else.
On the day our engineer will call you 30 minutes before they will arrive to give you an accurate time.
Step Three
After you smart meter has been installed it will immediately start to send readings to your energy supplier.
Our engineer will be on hand to answer any question and ensure you are satisfied before they leave the property.

Octopus Energy
We are proud to be Octopus Energy’s number one provider of Smart Meter engineers, as well as working on their behalf for Commercial and Domestic EV installations.
OVO Energy
We recently teamed up with OVO to install smart meters on their behalf across England, Scotland and Wales.

We plan, book and install smart meter jobs on behalf of Energy Assets and the energy companies they work for.
eDF Energy
We handle the planning, booking and installation of smart meters on behalf of EDF Energy.
Why Get a Smart Meter?
Only Pay What is Necessary
No need for estimated bills as the smart meter regularly updates the energy usage with the utilities company.
Track Energy Usage in Real Time
Understand better what behaviour / appliances are using the most energy in your home to cut down on their use and minimise your next bill.
Remove All Unnecessary Hassle
With a smart meter the user no longer needs to take meter readings or top up away from their home.
How we Install your Smart Meter
Before our engineer arrives at your property they will give you a call to give you an accurate ETA.
Once they have arrived they will carry out all necessary safety checks to ensure the property is safe to be worked on.
The average install only takes around 1 – 2 hours to complete and the engineer will be on hand to show you how it works and answer any questions you may have.
