Project Showcase – Adlib

Commercial EV Spotlight

Energise Energy Solutions recently completed the install of 8 Easee Charge and 4 Easee Base at Adlib’s head office in Knowsley, just outside of Liverpool.

The Charge Points will allow Adlib staff & visitors to charge their EV’s at speeds of up to 22kW, with fast and easy ways to pay through Charge Point Management Software, Monta.

Adlib

Adlib are an event technology partner for the live music and events industry, specialising in the supply of audio, lighting, video, staging and rigging for some of the UK’s biggest tours and events, most recently, providing technical production for the likes of Sam Fender, The Script, Westlife, and George Ezra.

Easee Charge

Easee Charge utilises all available electrical capacity in commercial buildings. The Charging Robot distributes the available current automatically between units – so both employees and visitors can charge in a smart and safe way.

Thanks to its load balancing technology, the Charging Robot can support up to 101 units on a single circuit. It manages this whilst charging at speeds of up to 22kW.

Easee Base

Easee Base is a robust and weather-resistant post that gives you freedom to install the Charging Robot where it suits you best. It is available in three different configurations. Choose between one, two or four Charging Robots on the same post and get the most out of the installation.

  • Up to four Easee Charging Robots can be installed on the same base.
  • Easy to connect each Base in series with the included Power Rail connection rail.
  • Connection via power strip.
  • Adapter plate that provides a 45 degree installation angle.
  • Designed in Norway.

Monta Management Software

Adlib took advantage of our partnership with Charge Point Management Software provider, Monta, by having the software installed on each of their eight Charge Points.

Monta will allow Adlib to have full control over the rates they charge their chargers and also control who is allowed to have access to them at any given time.

Starting your charge with Monta is easy. The user has two options – the first by tapping the RFID cards we provide to start charging instantly. For users that don’t have access to the cards, all they have to do is scan the QR code on the Charge Point using their phone and in a few clicks can pay using their card details or Apple Pay.

Feedback

Gareth Gwyther, Adlib’s Compliance and H&S Manager told us:

“I am generally thrilled with the process from first enquiry to completion. The online platform allowed me to easily share information regarding our site and the proposed locations of the EV chargers without lengthy site visits.

It was straightforward to share information regarding our electrical capacity via the online forms, and Dan and Callum were extremely helpful anytime I had a question. Engineers who attended the site were friendly and knowledgeable and completed the work with minimal disruption to our operation.

When some short delays occurred with the delivery of hardware, communication was always clear, so we knew what to expect at every step.”

Charge Point Protection and Bay Marking

As part of our full turnkey solution, we also fitted wheel stops and marked out the EV Charging spots to both protect and make the Charge Points clearly visable.
