Renters and Flat Owners Can Now Apply For an OZEV Grant of £350 Towards an EV Chargepoint.

The EV Homecharge Scheme (EVHS) in it’s previous form came to an end on the 31st March, it has been opened up to a new demographic who can now benefit from a discounted EV Charger.

What is the OZEV grant?

In 2014, The Office for Zero Emissions (OZEV) launched the EVHS in which EV owners could claim up to £350 off the cost of a brand new EV Charger + Installation.

What has changed?

The savings beneficiaries can make from the grant remain the same, however, the eligibility requirements have shifted. From now on the grant will only be available to those who live in flats and rental accommodation, whereas previously it was open to all homeowners who live in ‘single-unit properties’.

How to Apply?

First, read the full eligibility criteria for the grant here, then if you believe you qualify then you can claim the grant’s discount against any of our range of EV Chargers. We will apply for the grant for you and ensure everything is processed correctly. All you will have to do is sign an EVHS installation form to confirm you meet the qualifying criteria.
