Energise Energy Solutions recently travelled up to the Lake District to install an Easee EV Charger with Monta Management Software, for use of both guests and the wider public.
According to Monta and Zapmap, the EV Charger we installed at Hawkrigg farm is the only one available for public use on the west side of Lake Windemere between Cockermouth and Keswick. Allowing a great opportunity for both Hawkrigg Farm to earn from their charger, as well as EV drivers now having access to EV charging in an area previously unavailable.

Our Process
Our EV Team remotely surveyed the property to ensure the engineer, Abdul, knew exactly what was required before he arrived on site.
The install took approximately 3 hours from Abdul arriving. Due to the Charger location, it was a relatively straight forward job with a neat finish of both the charger and cabling.
Monta Management Software
As Hawkrigg Farm wished to allow both their guests and wider public use their EV Charge Point, we installed Monta Management Software as part of the package.
Monta will allow Hawkrigg Farm to have full control over the rates they charge both demographics of customer as well as limiting use to just their own guests if needed.
Starting your charge with Monta is easy. The user has two options – the first by tapping the RFID cards we provide to start charging instantly. For users that don’t have access to the cards, all they have to do is scan the QR code on the Charge Point using their phone and in a few clicks can pay using their card details or Apple Pay.
