Over the last few of weeks, colleagues from across the Smart Metering and EV Charging service along with Energise Directors, Bevan and David have been travelling across the country to meet our Smart Metering and EV field engineers as part of the “Team on Tour” roadshow.
The tour, which covered Runcorn, Bridgend, Sheffield, Bromley and South Mimms, was a great opportunity to share the vision of the business, opportunities for growth, upskilling, and to also say a big ‘thank you’ for the valuable contribution all staff make to delivering great customer service – especially through the covid 19 pandemic.
As part of the presentation, awards and gift vouchers were presented, recognising the accomplishments of some of our top performers.

Feedback from our staff
The Team on Tour was also a great opportunity for staff to raise any feedback in a relaxed environment.
Bevan Butcher, Director, said: “A key part of how we grow as a business is listening to feedback and ideas from both customers and employees. We believe in open communication, and the team on tour series has been a great platform to do this”.
‘Real life’ success stories were also shared by members of management team who have progressed from metering and engineers roles to management positions as part of the ‘Step-In’ opportunities.
99% of those who attended felt that the roadshow was beneficial and gave them a better understanding of Energise.
Sam Webster, Operations Manager, said: “It was great to touch base with our team following a rapid period of growth following the Covid-19 pandemic”. Andy Reed, Operations Manager added: “it was great to hear our feedback from our boots on the ground!”.
